Pink Opal

Candy for the heart, the new Harmony Collection

At the heart of every creation is a magnificent natural gemstone,
its meaning lending power to the overall intent of the piece.

Jewellery is a transcendent creative medium that has the unique ability to mirror our personal transformation through life.

All of our SIS pieces are custom designed to connect you to a moment in your life, to the craftsmanship of talented artisans and mineral, crystal, gemstone energy from Mother Earth.

We’re here to help you to Shape your Shine.

1. We are a boutique brand and only make a few pieces of each design.
This means for you, kindred aesthetes, the ability to connect with a piece of jewellery that is meaningful to you and unique in your circle.
It means for us, that by keeping our studio operations small and focused, we’re able to reduce waste and work in an environmentally friendly way. Every piece is crafted thoughtfully, so nothing goes to waste, and we can keep our environmental impact as low as possible.

2. We love natural gemstones, millions of years in the making, hundreds to choose from.
Swimming in Stones is built around a passion for natural gemstones, to us, they’re all precious (even the ones classified semi precious). There isn’t an exhaustive pool of natural gemstones, each stone has formed over millions of years within our Earth, they are a connection to our planet worn close to the skin.
Gemstones distinctiveness, with unique inclusions, patterns, and colour variations that make each one-of-a-kind providing endless design possibilities. Their durability, value, size and appeal make them not only wonderful heirlooms, but personal talismans able to hold lifelong significance.
Spiritual properties are subjective and vary across different belief systems and cultures. But one thing is for certain though, humanity has revered gemstones through the ages. Each piece is as unique as its custodian.

3. Sixth generation Artisans create our original designs in our small dedicated studio in Jaipur
Whilst our custom designs are created in the heart of Sydney, our mission is to give Artisans meaningful work so we incorporate traditional techniques and focus on beautiful, handmade designs. Each piece is as unique as its makers, as up to ten Artisans are employed on any one piece. We are creating opportunities for our Artisans to remain gainfully employed today, but proudly support their desires to keep their heritage alive for future generations.

4. We’re also ocean lovers, $1 from every piece sold goes to the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
Our majestic oceans, bold coral reefs are not only a source of design inspiration but bring a sense of inner peace, freedom and clarity.

5. Our practical and sustainable packaging is the Scuba Sac, it’s Neoprene practical & pretty
Made in Australia, it can be used for any number of purposes in future. It serve to protect your jewels in shipping meaning we don’t require any plastic bubble wrap

6. We choose carbon neutral Global Shipping and partner with Sendle.
It is 100% Carbon Neutral footprint with completely compostable packaging.

You are not one thing.
You are a constellation.
A luminous tangle of creativity, care, courage, and curiosity.

We design for connection to the moment, as opposed to trend.
A focus on affordable luxury, meaningful keepsakes.
Our medium? Sleek sensorial silver, rich gold vermeil and of course, beautiful natural gemstones.

Daintree Ring

The designs are bold, different, individual and it feels lovely to wear them. They have a great back story of using artisans in India.
