Lisa started by creating jewellery as a child, using seashells she found on Sydney's beautiful Whale beach. That childhood mindfulness practice seeped into her adulthood, around a busy advertising career, Lisa’s weekends were often spent in solitude immersed in gemstones. In 2007 her own handmade gemstone jewellery was recognised by the most senior creative leader who encouraged her to have her first sale -
Swimming in Stones Sydney was born.

What started as a mega COLOUR CRUSH on Gemstones, has become a lifelong obsession with our human connection to these mystical rocks that we place so much value on. And rightly so, Mother Earth spent millions of years creating them.
We can’t deny that for as long as humans have roamed the Earth, Gemstones have been close to our hearts - providing us with a little magic even! We'll share what we know, so you can decide…but be prepared to be amazed or at least look at your gemstones just a little more deeply!

Lisa has collaborated with a very small team of talented Artisans since that first vist, she feels that the craftsmanship, respect and joy is the soul of every piece of the jewellery.

All our pieces are beautifully handmade using precious and semi-precious materials that have been selected by Lisa herself. We specialise handcrafted earrings, rings, bangles and necklaces all harnessing the power beautiful natural gemstones, traditional craftsmanship and generational storytelling.
You can choose your jewellery from the Ready to Play Collection, bold natural gemstones in a nickel free brass base on Silver or Gold Polish. Or from our Demi Fine collection of precious metals and quality, natural gemstones.

Gemstones and metals are sourced and manufactured as required, mistakes are repurposed. To our planet, we are mindful to give back in our production practice, our sustainable shipping process and our reusable, reimagined jewellery packaging the Scuba Sac.
